Do you want your garden/plants to use less water?
What is the demand for a potting soil/compost mixed that saves water and
increases plant growth by blending it with biochar? There is going to
be a big demand once the public is educated as to the benefits that
biochar can bring to plant life. A current university study observes
that nursery plant watering was reduced from 4 to 5 times a week to only
one using a potting soil mixed with 25% biochar. As well saving water,
biochar provides an excellent home to microbes that help plants resist
disease and grow faster and larger. Unfortunately, large scale use of
biochar is not likely to be implemented due to the expense. It will most
likely be used in small gardens, and potting plants.
